How We Work with Referring Physicians
Los Alamitos Cardiovascular is primarily a referral-based group serving patients in Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, Lakewood, Cerritos, Cypress and neighboring communities. Our cardiologists are on staff at most area hospitals including Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and Los Alamitos Medical Center. We are seeing patients at 5300 Katella Avenue, across from Costco in Los Alamitos.
Our group is composed of excellent general cardiologists, yet each one has his/her own area of expertise, thereby optimizing our capacity to address your requirements. Drs. Forman and Lee are superb Cardiovascular Interventionalists performing both coronary and peripheral catheter interventions. Dr. Ramandeep Brar is the group’s board-certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist. We have multiple, experienced pacemaker implanters, and are recognized for having one of the largest pacemaker clinics in the area. We are also accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) as a Nuclear Imaging facility.
At Los Alamitos Cardiovascular, your patients can have most diagnostic cardiovascular testing completed at our offices, which are about a mile east of the Los Alamitos Medical Center campus. We perform a full-spectrum of stress testing to include: standard treadmill testing, nuclear stress echocardiography, nuclear treadmill stress testing, and Lexiscan pharmacologic stress tests. We also provide ankle-brachial index monitoring for peripheral vascular disease. For patients experiencing the symptoms of venous reflux disease, we offer ultrasound testing and the latest in minimally invasive treatments such as radiofrequency ablation and VenaSeal Closure™. We strive to communicate with you thoughtfully and responsively, and depending on need, type and time of testing, interpretations and results are usually returned to you within 24-48 hours. As an additional convenience, we host an on-site PIL lab services facility where patients can have lab work done during their visit.
We are aggressively utilizing advanced technology in our record keeping and communications and are proud to announce that we have completed our transition from paper charts to a Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
